Their planet is split between two major species, the Caelus (Sky Dwellers) and the Petros (Rock Dwellers).
Species Info:
The Caelus live in the ‘Heavens’ in a city called Stratopia — cloud cities in the sky with all good vibes, freshest feel, and cleanest streets, the perfect idea of ‘Heaven’. Though everyone in Stratopia has a job/role they must fulfill.
The Petros are the Planet or ‘Rock Dwellers’ as nicknamed by the Caelus. They live in a ‘Clouded’ World quite literally and are of a darker nature because the Sky Dwellers occupy the skies above, ultimately blocking sunlight from reaching the world below. The Petros despise the Caelus, and while both species are often at war, encounters are rare. The world below is unruly and very much a post-apocalyptic scene.
Cloudy Azure is what most would call a Celebrity in this City in the Sky, often nicknamed ‘Floaterfly’ for their soft features, beautiful personality, but fast-paced lifestyle.
By day, Cloudy’s job is to ensure the city stays moisturized with the daily routine of light rain and drizzles, which gives them a scent of fresh rain and ensures the city has enough moisture to stay afloat. By night, however, Cloudy becomes a different kind of celebrity. They know how to bust a move and often party night after night in 90’s-themed raves, dancing, whistling, and sometimes even hosting one themselves.
Cotton is one of the smaller Caelus, almost kitten-like with fluffy lines and poofy attire. He is the ‘Sky Weaver’. His day job is to maintain enough cloud in the city to sustain its inhabitants, poofing up the beds of the city to make sure everyone has a ‘ground’ to stand on.
Cotton doesn’t have much of a nightlife other than getting cozy and snuggly in his poofy room with poofy sheets.
Mint is a rarity on their planet, being a green cat from one of the ancient breeds from the old world when the two worlds lived as one. They embody the fresh smell of the sky and the aroma of the city that brings peace and relaxation, a light waft of mint in the air.
Their day job is the ‘Green Claw’, keeping the plant life alive up in the clouds. Without soil, plants flourish under the presence of a Green Claw, requiring minimal maintenance even at high altitude.
Callie is one of the more energetic souls in Stratopia, responsible for feeding the city. Nicknamed ‘Magieros’, she cooks most of the day and sometimes into the night, always making sure to bake a few extra cookies to enjoy herself.
Windrush is the guardian of The Caelus. She’s one of the more widely recognised of the species and is nicknamed ‘Nebuluna’ because of the light and floating colours within her fur. She is also extremely powerful, able to focus her energy in one particular direction as long as she has access to the sun.
Her power is nearly endless, but when under the cloud blanket she relies on a battery-like power source that she can tap into for emergencies. At night, she becomes even more powerful thanks to the Moon, which further earned her nickname.
Being a Kitsune, she is the only Caelus capable of harnessing the power of both The Sun and The Moon!
